Releases
What's new in FirstVisit
New features, fixes, and security updates — published with every meaningful release.
v2.0.1
Narrative & personality polish — less robotic, more human
Rewritten landing page copy
Hero headline, subheadline, features section, CTA, and dashboard text rewritten with story-driven, conversational language instead of transactional filler.
Warmer testimonials
Testimonial quotes now include specific outcomes (percentages, concrete fixes) to feel more credible and less generic.
v2.0.0
Self-improving AI — analysis learns from past results
Re-analysis with memory
When you analyze the same URL again, the AI now reviews the previous report and acknowledges what you fixed. It only suggests what's still missing — no more repetitive advice.
Score deltas on every metric
Trust, clarity, and conversion scores now show ↑/↓ change indicators compared to the previous analysis of the same URL.
Score timeline
A new timeline section on every analysis page shows how scores evolved across multiple re-analyses, with per-metric deltas and links to older reports.
Self-improvement scoring rules
The AI is now explicitly instructed: if improvements are visible, scores must go up. If the page regressed, it notes the regression. The buy rate adjusts accordingly.
v1.9.0
Smarter AI scoring, credible analysis, buy probability
AI scores now anchor to heuristic baselines
The AI prompt now explicitly instructs the model to start from validated structural scores and adjust based on content quality, preventing scores from randomly dropping after improvements.
'Would You Buy This?' now shows estimated buy rate
The confidence metric is now an estimated visitor conversion probability (0-100%) instead of a vague confidence-in-answer number. The formula, prompt, and UI all reflect this change.
Evidence-grounded analysis
Every confusion point, suggestion, and objection now cites a specific page element (headline, button label, missing section) instead of giving generic advice. The AI temperature was lowered from 0.7 to 0.4 for consistency.
Expanded heuristic scoring
The scoring engine now detects social proof stats, pricing visibility, strong CTA language, and rich content structure — raising the ceiling for well-built pages from ~76 to 90+.
v1.8.1
Hero simplification & pricing CTA boost
Simplified hero section
Removed benefit bullets, social proof line, and pricing box from above the fold. The CTA now sits directly under the subheadline, keeping the hero focused on one clear message.
Pricing preview moved below hero visual
A compact pricing pill link replaces the large pricing box, sitting beneath the CTA for quick context without cluttering above-the-fold space.
Stronger pricing page CTAs
Plan buttons now use action-oriented labels ('Get started', 'Go Pro') with a larger, filled style for improved conversion.
v1.8.0
Trust, pricing, and benefit clarity push
Inline pricing preview in the hero
A compact pricing strip now shows all three plan prices ($0 / $29 / $99) directly in the hero so visitors never feel pricing is hidden.
Benefit bullets above the fold
Three explicit product benefits — trust & clarity scores, conversion prediction, and actionable fix list — are now listed under the subheadline.
Trust guarantees in social proof
SOC 2 aligned data handling, no credential storage, and cancel-any-time guarantees are now shown alongside the stats and logos section.
v1.7.1
Self-analysis fixes — headline, trust, and clarity
Benefit-led hero headline
The hero headline now focuses on the outcome visitors care about — understanding why visitors leave and how to convert them — instead of describing the product mechanics.
Trust indicators near the CTA
Shield, speed, and free-plan badges now sit directly below both the hero CTA and the final CTA so visitors see proof before they click.
Pricing made visible from the hero
The secondary hero button now links to the pricing page instead of scrolling to features, addressing the 'hidden pricing' objection.
Sharper features section messaging
The features headline and subheadline now lead with conversion and data-driven language instead of generic wording.
v1.7.0
Homepage redesign — Social Proof & FAQ
Social proof section
A new section below the hero displays key stats (2,400+ analyses, 80+ teams, 4.9/5 rating, <60s delivery) alongside client logos and trust badges.
FAQ section
Seven common questions are now answered in an expandable accordion on the landing page, reducing friction before signup.
Optimized page flow
The landing page now follows the recommended conversion layout: Hero → Social Proof → Features → Pricing → FAQ → Final CTA.
Updated navigation
The header nav now includes a direct FAQ link and prioritizes the key conversion paths.
v1.6.1
Landing page conversion uplift
Clearer hero value proposition
The landing page headline and supporting copy now explain more directly that FirstVisit AI finds the trust and clarity gaps hurting conversion.
Testimonials added near the main CTA
Customer proof cards now sit directly under the hero CTA to build confidence before visitors scroll further down the page.
Stronger conversion-focused navigation and CTA styling
The header now highlights How It Works, Testimonials, and Pricing, while the main CTAs use more prominent typography and stronger above-the-fold visibility.
v1.6.0
AI Competitor Battle ⚔️
AI Competitor Battle
Enter your URL and a competitor's to get a side-by-side AI comparison across Clarity, Conversion, Trust, UX and Messaging — each scored 0–10 with insights.
Battle results page
A dedicated results page shows score bars, a verdict, per-dimension insights, strengths for each site, and actionable recommendations.
Dashboard battle mode
The dashboard URL input now includes a ⚔️ Battle section with a competitor URL field, available on Starter and Pro plans.
Form validation conflict
Clicking Analyze or Roast no longer triggers a browser validation error on the competitor URL field.
Responsive layout on dashboard & battle
Buttons wrap properly on small screens, the battle heading stacks vertically on mobile, and score-bar labels resize for narrow viewports.
v1.5.0
Revamped Header, Footer & Preloader
Auth-aware header
The site header now detects whether you're logged in — showing a Dashboard button instead of Log in / Get started.
Sticky glass header
The header is now sticky with a frosted-glass backdrop-blur effect that stays visible as you scroll.
Mobile navigation menu
A hamburger menu on smaller screens gives full access to all navigation links and auth actions.
Multi-column footer
The footer has been redesigned into a structured 4-column layout with Product, Legal, and Account sections.
Page preloader
A branded loading screen with an animated FirstVisit logo and progress bar appears on initial page load.
v1.4.0
Security Hardening
Authentication on all API endpoints
Every data-fetching endpoint now verifies the caller's identity and ownership before returning results.
SSRF protection for the website crawler
URLs targeting internal networks, cloud metadata endpoints, and localhost are now blocked before the crawler runs.
Webhook replay-attack prevention
Paddle webhooks are now rejected when the signature timestamp is older than 5 minutes, and hex format is strictly validated.
Security response headers
All responses now include X-Frame-Options, Strict-Transport-Security, X-Content-Type-Options, Referrer-Policy, and Permissions-Policy headers.
Error message sanitisation
Internal error details are no longer exposed to clients — all error responses return generic safe messages while full details are logged server-side.
v1.3.0
AI Redesign Generator & Plan-Based Feature Gating
AI Redesign Generator
See an AI-generated before/after view of how your homepage should look — with optimized section order, CTA placement, visual hierarchy tips, and estimated score improvements.
Plan-based feature gating
Free, Starter, and Pro plans now unlock different feature tiers. Free users see core scores and a preview; paying plans unlock Roast Mode, Conversion Tips, full personas, and more.
Updated pricing page
The pricing section now accurately reflects all available features per tier.
v1.2.0
"Would You Buy This?" Verdict
"Would You Buy This?" test
Every analysis now includes an AI psychological verdict — Yes, Maybe, or No — with confidence score, objections, and a potential deal-breaker.
v1.1.0
Developer API, Roast Mode & Conversion Tips
Developer API & CMS integrations
Pro users can create API keys and integrate FirstVisit analysis into any platform via REST endpoints.
Roast Mode
Get a brutally honest, shareable roast of any website with a savagery score and actionable (if painful) feedback.
Conversion Tips
Structured, prioritized conversion tips with impact ratings and categories (CTA, trust, clarity, content, navigation, pricing).
API key hashing
API keys are hashed with SHA-256 before storage — raw keys are never persisted.
